FINAL RESULTS SUMMARY
COLERAINE MN (3/05) - The 2002 Junior Olympics for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined ended here last weekend, and medals were awarded at a banquet honoring the winners and all athletes participating in these U.S. junior national championship competitions.
Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded for the week's events as follows.

OJ Class = ages 18-19
CEN = Central Division (Midwestern U.S. clubs)
EAST = Eastern Division (based in Lake Placid, NY)
IMD = Intermountain Division (based in Park City, Utah)

CAN = The Canadian contingent (based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada)
skied in a separate "Guest" class for these events, as they were not
eligible for U.S. national awards.

The Junior Olympics for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined is hosted by the Itasca Ski Club of Coleraine, Minnesota. The Junior Olympic series of national championship ski tournaments is sponsored nationally by the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) and Chevy Trucks.
